Use recycled and recyclable materials

Material conversion, which accounts for the majority of our total carbon footprint, is one of our greatest opportunities to reduce our impact. We strive to increase the percentage of reprocessed materials and plant-based materials used. We make products using minimum transport space, minimum packaging, all recyclable.

Virtuous operations

Sustainable materials are all the more important if we manufacture responsibly. Our global approach takes into account carbon, energy, waste, chemistry and water throughout the product lifecycle, and in the end, we make choices that improve working conditions for our employees. we ultimately make choices that improve conditions for our teams. All our plants will adopt ISO14001 certification by 2026 (partially achieved).

Virtuous operations

Lifecycle

By 2030, we have set ourselves the target of donating, reconditioning or recycling ten times as many used products. To achieve this, we are making it easier for customers to return used products. Recently, we deployed HACARE SERVICES. We will be organizing recycling workshops and offering relevant content such as repair and maintenance videos to help extend product life.

HAcare is committed to the circular economy

HACARE finished products are recyclable thanks to the implementation of a finished product recovery system at the end customer's premises, for recycling with our supplier-partner. As wood cannot be recycled indefinitely because its fibers become too small or are depleted, wood waste is recovered and converted into green energy.

HAcare is committed to the circular economy

HAcare is committed to recyclability

Recycling is the practice of recovering used materials from the waste stream and then incorporating those same materials back into the manufacturing process. Each HACARE finished product bears an index indicating the percentage of recycled material it contains.

HAcare is committed to using 100% reclaimed wood

The plant fiber backrests used in the manufacture of HACARE Group products are made from 100% reused wood. Each finished HACARE product bears a label indicating the percentage of plant fiber it contains.
